6. Promotion Services for Businesses

Promotion packages, including featured listings, newsletter features and social media campaigns, are subject to a separate written agreement or order confirmation setting out the scope, deliverables, pricing and payment terms. Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

• Fees are due prior to the commencement of the campaign or as stated in the applicable order confirmation;
• Fees paid are non-refundable once a campaign has begun, save where we fail to deliver the agreed services and no satisfactory remedy is provided;
• We do not guarantee specific attendance figures, ticket sales, bookings or commercial outcomes as a result of any promotion;
• Either party may cancel a scheduled campaign by giving at least seven (7) days' written notice prior to the campaign start date.

7. Editorial Independence

Our reviews and recommendations are written by our own editorial team. While we may be supported by promotional partnerships with venues and organisers, we never accept payment in exchange for positive reviews. Sponsored or promotional content, where published, is clearly identified.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GalwayBeat Guide, its directors, employees and contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive loss or damage, including loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunities, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website or any content or services provided through it.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any statutory consumer rights you may have under Irish and EU law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2022.
